S2E6 - Cybersecurity for Small Business
Cyberattacks Are Inevitable — Is Your Business Prepared?
In this eye-opening episode of 502 Entrepreneurs, host Carl Armijo sits down with cybersecurity experts Paul Cox (TeamLogic IT), Andy Runyan (Ukon), and Nick Wolf (Cork) to tackle one of the biggest threats facing small businesses today: cyberattacks. Broadcasting on location from the University of Louisville, the group dives into a recent cyber game simulation and unpacks critical insights on cyber insurance, cyber warranties, and incident response planning. Listeners will learn why it’s no longer a matter of “if” but “when” a cyber incident will strike, and how tools like MFA (multi-factor authentication), well-structured insurance, and fast-acting cyber warranties can save businesses from devastating losses. Whether you’re tech-savvy or tech-shy, this episode breaks it down in a relatable, practical way. Tune in to protect your business before it's too late!

Paul Adams Cox is the President of TeamLogic IT of Louisville, where he helps small businesses by quickly troubleshooting their IT so they can get back to running their businesses. Before opening his own business, Paul served as an enlisted infantryman in the U.S. Army and spent two decades in national security, emerging technology, and federal strategy. He’s conducted classified wargames for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, worked with multiple NASA satellite teams, provided analysis of transnational criminal threats with federal law enforcement, and supported the Secretary of Homeland Security from inside a 24x7 national operations center.
